Gymbox could see their current system for keeping members informed didn’t match the brand’s dynamic image: old-school posters and noticeboards in the gyms were static and lifeless and information could sometimes be out-of-date. They wanted a contemporary digital approach in line with the brand’s dynamic values.
We developed cutting-edge interactive touchpoints with well-designed content. The large-scale touchscreens with sleek, iPhone style user interfaces allowed gymgoers to simply swipe the screen to scan the week’s timetable, read and watch videos about new group classes, browse future events, view profiles of personal trainers and then contact them via the multi-touch HD screen.
Rolled out across the Gymbox estate, usage statistics were analysed weekly so the brand knew which classes generated the most interest – and which touchscreen locations got the most traffic.
