Brightspace is a trading division of Kaleidovision, and sells on-screen advertising space within licensed venues throughout the UK.
By bringing together a large number of leading multiple venue operators, Brightspace offers advertisers a one-stop buying point for the purchase of media space in leisure venues nationwide. Venue operators enjoy a supplementary revenue stream derived from the audience of customers in their sites.
Advertisers
Bar screen media offers a dynamic way of communicating to hard-to-reach 18-30 year olds. The advertising fits alongside the existing on-screen entertainment package, which is typically a blend of venue marketing mesaages, branding and music videos.
In Brightspace venues there is typically high customer dwell time (over two hours), and multiple screens showing the same advertising. Since inception, Brightspace has comissioned detailed independent research which consistently show impressively high awareness and brand recall. As customers are typlically out with friends, research also shows this medium inclines the advertised brand and campaign to be immediately discussed amongst the customer peer group.

Venue Operators
Advertising can provide an additional revenue stream for venue operators. research shows custoemrs are not averse to advertising as long as it's the 'right kind of brand', and there are not tool many ads.
Brightspace works with Media Buying Agencies who book campaigns on behalf of major consumer brands on a national and regional basis. Media buyers book all sorts of advertising media for their clients - from 'traditional' media such as cinema, radio, TV and outdoor posters, to new digital media formats including internet and 'digital outdoor' which includes screens in bars and clubs. Campaigns using bar screen media normally run at the same time as they appear in print or on TV.
Brightspace has worked with media buyers and brand owners since the inception of this medium, showing them how persuasive screens in bars and clubs can be, and selling in the benefits of the environment and the tightly profiled customer audience.
When media buyers are interested in booking bar screens with brightspace, we notify the relevant operators whose venues match the media agency's requirements in terms of geography and the customer audience profile. Assuming the operator agrees to run the campaign, we then manage it's distribution over our media network and it's playout according to the media schedule agreed.
